2) Are you Catholic or Protestant?
We are both. The word catholic comes from the Greek adjective katholikos which means universal. Since all who believe in Christ are tasked with the gift of sharing the Good News of Salvation through the entire world, we at Sacred Heart of Jesus consider ourselves as catholic. Furthermore, we believe that since we have Apostolic Succession, we are in continuity with the original universal church. We closely follow in the Anglican tradition, and we consider ourselves to be “Reformed Catholics”. This by definition means we are also part of the protestant movement.
3) Do you celebrate Holy Communion?
We celebrate Holy Communion every Sunday. We also celebrate Holy Communion during Evening Prayers on Wednesday, and the first Friday of the month during Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Those are the only times we meet at our chapel in Holiday, Florida.
4) What is your stance on the Bible?
